New Worker

The New Worker came to be produced as a result of the split within the Communist Party U.S.A. (Marxist-Leninist) in 1968. The group around A.M. Hoffman and M.F. Lustig continued to produce the Party's newspaper, the Peoples Voice. The New Worker was the paper started up the group that remained loyal to former General Secretary M.I. Laski.
