Letter to the Editor:

November 18, 2004

Dear Editor,

Just like the OJ Simpson trial years ago, the U.S. ruling class shows it’s ugly racist side justifying-a marine’s killing of an unarmed wounded Iraqi. The entire ruling class with their press and pundits are lining up against the Arab world. Jayne’s and other murder incorporated think tanks say the marine was justified. The Arabs could’ve applied that kind of thinking to the Jessica Lynch situation when Iraqis made sure she was plucked off the battlefield and taken to a hospital. The incarceration techniques with hooding prisoners-and making them kneel and lay prostrate can’t be endearing the U.S. in the eyes of the world.-

It is my opinion that the ruling class isn’t going to couch itself in any kind of liberator’s guise. They are preparing the American People to accept that there are no boundaries the U.S. Armed Forces have to obey when conducting warfare. I battled two of my co-workers who agree that the marine was correct in executing the wounded Iraqi. Every Imperial incursion into the third world will degenerate into a race war. When the Arab Press has an ironclad case against U.S. militarism, the armed forces ridicule the Arab World with words such as investigation, researching the facts and booby-trapped bodies. For U.S. Imperialism to succeed in military expansion this ruling class will have to cultivate mass acceptance that combatants against the United States are sub-human and can be exterminated. This has begun with U.S. refusal to count civilian casualties.-

Ed Harris of Associated Press reported that when Iraqi families fled Fallujah towards the end of the siege, men 15 and up were waved back into the bombed and ravaged city at gunpoint. Why wasn’t there a corps of administrators to process or incarcerate males fleeing the city? It was planned from the outset to exterminate as many Fallujan males as possible in the bombing. Al Jazeera reported that marines were under orders when searching houses to fire into them first and then go in. A Cavalry Officer told AP that unarmed men are hard to distinguish from the insurgents.

These are frustrating times and it looks as if the ruling class temporarily has the masses confused and accepting of U.S. atrocities abroad. I think that it is important to stress to our imbecile U.S. citizens that taking no prisoners and arbitrary shootings of injured soldiers will be applied to captured or injured U.S. Soldiers in future conflicts. How outraged our people were when German Soldiers during the Battle of the Bulge arbitrarily shot American Prisoners. Now the U.S. Army is doing the same thing.

Good Luck Everybody. I do believe with my last breath the axiom: Socialism or Barbarism!

Comradely,

Brian Schwartz
