The strategic line of the Communist Labor Party is and has always been hemispheric unity. This Third Congress opposes all US intervention in El Salvador and the rest of Central America. We will do everything possible to carry out our revolutionary duty in the USNA.
As the party is attempting to lead the multinational proletariat of the USNA, our Communist Labor Party has always sought to unite the working class and to work among and to lead our countries’ various nationalities regardless of language differences. Especially as we continue to recruit among the Spanish-speaking workers, it will be essential to provide that the strategic orientation and decisions of our Party are translated for these cadre.
Therefore, the Third Congress of the Communist Labor Party resolves that its Central Committee act to ensure the timely Spanish translation and distribution of the Party Organizer and other key center directives.
In the sentiment of the strategic thrust and tasks agreed upon by this Congress, the presidium proposes that the Congress instruct the Central Committee to discuss the proposal from the farmworkers and to take the necessary steps to organize the party for its tasks in relation to this work.
The Communist Labor Party recognizes the rights of Native American peoples to hold land and maintain sovereignty, whatever their treaty status and present legal conditions might be. The Party supports the Indian peoples in their struggle for the right to their land, culture, and a political status which respects their unique histories and traditions. To further develop strategy and tactics, the Third Party Congress directs the Indian Commission to prepare concrete political proposals within one year for discussion within the Party. The ultimate purpose of these proposals and discussions is to prepare and publish, after one year, a detailed political analysis and specific political program on the Indian Question.
