The historic mission of the working class is the overthrow of imperialism, the establishment of the dictatorship of the proletariat, socialism and communism. Socialism is not some distant dream. It is the only road out of exploitation and oppression for the proletariat and its allies.
The U.S. bourgeoisie is the irreconcilable enemy of the proletariat. In factories, mines, mills and on the farms, working people are rising up in struggle against the capitalist class. The oppressed nations are unfurling the banner of national liberation against U.S. imperialism.
These struggles can only be waged successfully with the leadership of a genuine Marxist-Leninist party. In the 1930’s the Communist Party USA stood in the vanguard of the class struggle. But by the middle of the 1940’s, the Marxist-Leninist program of the CPUSA had been undermined and the Party turned onto the road of class collaboration, “peaceful transition” and modern revisionism.
The Communist Party U.S.A. (Marxist-Leninist) is the reconstructed Marxist-Leninist Party of the U.S. proletariat. The (Marxist-Leninist) designation of our Party demarcates it from the revisionist road taken by the CPUSA. All other political parties represent the interests of the bourgeoisie. The formation of the CPUSA(M-L) transforms the spontaneous struggle against exploitation and oppression into a class conscious struggle.
The scientific stand, viewpoint and method of our Party is based upon dialectical and historical materialism. The theory of Marxism-Leninism, this program, and the Party’s strategy and tactics will ensure the revolutionary mobilization of the proletariat and oppressed peoples and their total victory over the U.S. bourgeoisie. The United States will then be transformed from an imperialist superpower into a socialist state.
As the vanguard detachment of the proletariat in the U.S., our Party takes up the class struggle with boundless dedication and complete confidence in our total victory. All who unite with this program should rally to the Party, build its leading role in the class struggle and fight for the victory of socialism.
