This month the second congress of the Communist Labor Party, USNA will be held. As the highest body in the Party, we will be coming together to re-affirm our unity around the line of Marxism-Leninism. In the past year political struggle has been waged throughout the party to build a monolithic organization, free from factions. Through vigilance using democratic centralism as our guide and weapon, we can now say that we are united around line and beginning to play a real role in leading the class struggle.
At the Central Committee meeting held over Labor Day weekend the draft resolution and the political report from the secretariat were agreed upon to be presented at the second Congress. The draft resolution represents a culmination in the development of our organization as an independent Marxist-Leninist Party.
The political report is an evaluation of our past year’s work, a brilliant example of criticism and self-criticism. Discussion over the documents has been held in every area of the country from the unit level to district conferences. Through their discussions comrades, for the most part, have achieved clarity and unity. Because of these discussions the delegates to the Congress will come fully representing their respective areas. The Congress will represent the highest level of political discussions that can be achieved.
Though the district conferences are over, discussion around these documents should continue until the Congress. Our unity can only remain of all comrades agree with, understand and can back up our line.
Comradely,
Political Bureau
