Le Socialiste

A weekly newspaper publislmed in New York from Octcober 1871 till May 1873 in French. It was an organ of the French sections of the North-American Federation of the International; after the Hague Congress it broke away from the International.

The French translation of the Manifesto of the Communist Party referred to in the test was published in Le Socialiste in January-March 1872.
