I consider Sokolnikov’s pamphlet, State Capitalism and the New Financial Policy, a great success. I think that you should direct all efforts to do away with our Supreme Economic Commission and all its subcommissions with maximum speed.[1] I very much fear that we have been dragging out this business by holding forth, while the need was to concentrate all attention on immediately taking practical steps and verifying the results.
