Dear Comrades,
I send you my book about the evolution of agriculture in the United States.
I should be very much obliged if I could have the opinion of Comrade Carr, if my book can be read by him with the aid of an English or German translator.
I should like also to receive from Comrade Ballister, if possible, official publications of the census 1920 (I have analysed in my book two censuses: 1900 & 1910).
If any publisher would like to publish my book in English in Un. States, I should like to write small preface.

[1] Ballister (Robert Minor) and John Carr (L. Cutterfeld), representatives of the Communist Party of the U.S.A. on the Executive Committee of the Comintern, were received by Lenin on December 3, 1921.
That same day, a C.P.C. secretary made the following entry of Lenin’s verbal inquiry in the card register of his assignments: “When is Comrade Manucharyants able to get for Vladimir Ilyich two copies of his book New Data on Capitalism in Agriculture (North American United States).” On December 5, the same card has this addition: “The books have been received and passed on to Vladimir Ilyich” (Central Party Archives of the Institute of Marxism-Leninism of the C.P.S.U. Central Committee).
