It is essential to reprint the “Material”,[1] even if in parts, since the issue was confiscated not on that account. Legality, legality without fail!!
If you can’t reprint it at once, announce immediately in print, for those who didn’t see the issue of October 29 that it will be reprinted.
[1] Lenin’s article “Material on the Conflict Within the Social-Democratic Duma Group”, first published in Za Pravdu No. 22, October 29, 1913 = (see present edition, Vol. 19, pp. 458–74), = was not reprint ed in the newspaper. In 1944 it was reprinted in the symposium Marxism and Liquidationism under the title “Material on the History of the Formation of the Russian Social-Democratic Labour Group in the Duma”.
Issue No. 22 of Za Pravdu was confiscated because of the leading article “Beilis Acquitted”.
